| Text | E. M. Rich was born July 31, 1854 in Illinois and departed this life May 14, at his home Southwest of Washburn; age 87 years, 9 months and 14 days. He leaves one son, Guy Rich, of Seligman, Mo., and his wife, Sarah Margaret Rich, of the home. He professed faith in Christ in his early life. He came to this county about 37 years ago and leaves a host of neighbors and friends who will greatly miss him. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. N.
