| Text | Carol C. Rhea, 72, of Monett, died at 6 p.m. Jan 7 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. Mr Rhea was born August 30, 1936, in Purdy, the son of Chester and Zettie Rhea. He was a retired supervisor from Jumping Jack Shoes in Monett and a member of House of Prayer Church in Monett. He was married on December 21, 1956 in Monett and his wife survives. Additional survivors include two sons, and one daugher, two brothers and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Joe, Bassil, Leon, Gene and Charlie Rhea and four sisters, Rene Benbrook, Annie Quinn, Imogene Henderson and Ava Brown. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, January 10 at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield. |
