Text | #1. We are sorry indeed to hear of the death of Grandma Reynolds. The aged husband and the children have he heartfelt sympathy of all. Several from here attended the funeral at Corinth Sunday evening. #2. Without a moments warning Mrs. Malissie E. Reynolds, wife of Wm. Reynolds, dropped dead at her home, about 4 miles south of Cassville, Saturday about one o'clock of heart failure. Mrs. Reynolds had been afflicted with dropsy for a number of years but had always been able to attend to her household duties. She appeared to be in her usual health Saturday morning and was doing her usual work when she dropped over dead. He sudden death was a great surprise to everybody. Malissie E. Reynolds - Tade was 72 years, 6 months and 4 days of age and was born in Clark County, Illinois. She was married to Wm. Reynolds in 1854, December 21, and the day of her death marked the 58th anniversary of their marriage. To this union were born 8 children, 4 of whom are living. The deceased made a confession in Christ when 30 years of age and joined the Primitive Baptist Church at Pasley. She was a woman highly respected and loved by the citizens of her community. The funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon by Rev. Coons of Cassville at the Corinth Baptist Church in the presences of a large number of friends and neighbors. Her body was laid to rest in the Huff Cemetery. |
