Text - Outline | Helen E. Reynaud, age 100, of Monett, MO, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Monett Health Care Center. Mrs. Reynaud was born on May, 6, 1909, in Rolla, MO, the daughter of the late M. E. and Mary (Moret) Gillioz. She was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monett, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, United Methodist Women and a Secretary for the Barry County Cancer Society. She married Walter H. Reynaud on August 10, 1930, in Monett, and he preceded her in death on January 11, 1990. Survivors include one daughter, of Monett; two grandchildren, of Joplin, MO and of Springfield, MO; four great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Alma Kinser, Blanche Gillioz and Marie Speer. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Chaplain Mike McCleary and Reverend Clif Crockett officiating. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett. Memorial contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Monett in care of the funeral home.
