Text | Ommer Junior Reed, son of Ommer and Nellie Reed, of near Clark School house was born Jan. 29, 1925 and died Feb. 29, 1932, at the age of 7 years, 1 month and 2 days. He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, three sisters, three brothers, both grandmothers, one grandfather, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Junior was a kind and lovable child. While he has bone? from the scenes, the conflicts, sorrows and pleasures of this life he will still live in the hearts of those who knew him best, and we dare not ask why he was taken from us, unless as flowers that are picked before the frost finds them that we may not witness their decay. It is sad, indeed, to see one taken so earl yin life, yet for him there was no standing on the boarder land gazing into the unknown. But now he will sleep where the daisies and the clover hangs its head. Where the song birds come and the wild bees hum above his head. His memories will live in all our hearts and we will hold it ever dear. Services were conduced at the Mt. Pleasant Church Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 2 o'clock by Rev. Ollie Ennis of Monett. The little body was laid t to rest in the Clark Cemetery under the direction of Pogue's Undertaking Service. |
