| Text | Halleen W. Reid, 94, formerly of Seligman, passed away April 2, 2009, in Jackson, TN and was born Aug. 21, 1914, in Seligman, to Montgomery and Arizona Wardlaw. She was a graduate of Seligman High School and the University of Arkansas. She was a teacher in the Seligman - Southwest R-5 School for 38 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. In 1934, she was married to Donald R. Reed, of Seligman. He died in 1983. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dr. H. Pat Wardlaw and Garland M. Wardlaw, and her parents. In 1990, she married James L. Reid, and they moved to Central California. He died in 2001. |
