Text | Death has blotted out the sweet life of a young wife and mother, that darkened their home and brought sadness to their hearts. She had suffered for sometime with a pulmonary trouble. Mrs. Chas. Reed died at night on July 31, 1919 at their home in Exeter, aged about 30 years, leaving her husband and four children to mourn her passing. She was the only daughter of W. R. Thompson, who lived on Washburn Prairie. The remains were interred in Truelove Cemetery on Aug. 1 where her grandparents, father and mother and many relatives are sleeping. She was born to William Thompson and Mary Truelove Thompson on June 16, 1886. The children that survived her are: Willie E. Reed 1907 - 1926 who is also buried in Truelove Cemetery Lucille M.
