Text | Beverly S. Reed, 65, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012, in her home. She was born June 24, 1946, in Exeter, the daughter of Wilmer and Artie (Ryan) Mattingly. On July 9, 1965, in Cassville, she was united in marriage to Larry Reed, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one daughter, Melissa Whisenhunt and her husband, Jerry, of Exeter; two sisters, Anna Ruth England, of Exeter, and Delores Hall, of Exeter; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Preceding her in death were her parents; five brothers, Donald, Darrell, David, Jim and Stanley Ray Mattingly and one sister, Wilma Dean. She was a life-long resident of Exeter. She was a graduate of Exeter High School. For several years, she worked with her husband in the meat processing business. For 19 years, she was employed at Fasco from which she retired. Graveside services were held today (Wednesday) at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor James Stewart conducted the services. |
