| Text | Anna L. Reed, 78, of Cassville, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009, in her home. She was born Dec. 5, 1930, in Spiro, OK, and was a daughter of Luther and Ruth (Shoop) Buckner. In 1946, she was united in marriage to William Munday, who preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1972. On July 30, 1973, in Miami, OK, she married Hubert Reed, who died Jan. 18, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Billy Munday; one daughter, Margaret Volner; one brother, Frank Buckner; two sisters, Josie Haskin, and Sarah Coble; one granddaughter, Angela Munday; and one great-great-granddaughter, Addison Walling. Survivors include: two sons, of Cassville, and of Rich Hill; one daughter, of Cassville; one stepson, of Washburn; four stepdaughters, of Cassville, of Monett, of Texas, and of Monett; one brother, of Spiro, Okla.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild. She moved from Oklahoma to Missouri as a young girl. She spent most of her life in the Cassville area, where she was a homemaker. Graveside services were held Monday, in Mano Cemetery, Eagle Rock, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Charlie Munday conducted the services. |
