Text | # 1. Maria A. Reavis, 70, of Monett, died at 4:40 p.m. yesterday, August 3, at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett. Mrs. Reavis was born September 3, 1929, in Verona, the daughter of Willis Godfred and Carrie Nellie Mae (Lawson) Kinsie. She had lived in the Monett area most of her life. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Hiland and Foremost Dairy, retiring in 1990, and attended Ebenezer Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, of Galena, of Aurora, and of Monett; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Kinsie, in 1945. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, August 6, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett with Rev. Jerry Nickle officiating. The body will be cremated with burial to be held at a later date under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, August 5, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Missouri. #2. Services for Maria A. Reavis, 70, of Monett, who died August 3, were held at 2 p.m. yesterday, August 6, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett with Rev. Jerry Nickle officiating. Music was provided by soloist Norman Spain who sang On The Wings Of A Dove, If We Never Meet Again, and In The Garden. Pianist was Louise Nickle. Burial will be at a later date at Monett IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. |
