Text Mrs. Norma Eugenia Reaves, 77, of Independence, died Wednesday at the home. She was born in Monett, Mo., and had lived in this area 55 years.

Mrs. Reaves was a member of the Evangel Temple - First Assembly Church.

She leaves her husband, James F. Reaves of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Kimball, Independence; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Carter, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Noma L. Alsup, Independence; and a grandson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel.
Research Note: Norma Eugenia (Dummit) Reaves, was born Dec. 11, 1904, and died Feb. 11, 1981. She was a daughter of Charles A. and Hilda (Hultgren) Dummit.
