| Text | William George "Uncle Butch" Putnam, 63, Eagle Rock, died at 6:20 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, at his home. He was born June 26, 1943 at Adrian, the son of George and Virginia (Poll) Putnam. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of the All Faith United Methodist Church in Eagle Rock. Survivors include a brother, of Athens, Michigan; three sisters, of Eagle Rock, of St. Peters and of Brooklyn, Michigan; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. One brother, Roy A. Reese, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 17, at All Faith United Methodist Church in Eagle Rock with Reverend Nancy S. Wilson officiating. Visitation will be from noon to service time at the church. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Leslie, Michigan. Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville. Memorials may be made to Community Hospice in care of the funeral home. |
