| Text | Hattie Louise Purdom, 93, of Monett, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at her home. She was born Oct. 20, 1915, in Exeter, the daughter of Beecher and Augusta (Cooper) Antle. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Church of Christ in Monett. She married Ora Francis Purdom on Jan. 16, 1932, in Galena, and he preceded her in death Aug. 31, 1986. Survivors include: two sons, of Monett, and of Purdy; two daughters, of Monett, and of Monett; two brothers, both of Exeter; one sister of Centralia, KS; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Antle; one sister, Lucille Antle; and one grandchild. Services were held Saturday, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett. Burial was at Maplewood. |
