Text | Winfred Eugene Pugh, 83, of St. Peters, formerly of Barry County, died March 1 in St. Peters. Mr. Pugh was born August 4, 1923, in Jasper County, the son of William Arthur and Bertha (Pryor) Pugh. He entered the ministry and pastored several churches in Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi, and Arkansas, including a church in Cassville. He married Nadine Weber on May 10, 1944. Survivors include four sons, one brother, 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Pugh; and one grandchild. Services were 10 a.m. today, March 5, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville with Gerald Pugh, Leroy Pugh, Steve Dillon, and Jack Smith officiating. Burial was in Sparks Cemetery in Butterfield. Memorials may be made to K. C. C. B. S. for the Winfred Pugh Memorial Scholarship Fund. |
