| Text | #1. Mount Pleasant News: Mabel Prevo the young wife of George Prevo died Tuesday 19th, her body was bought to Mount Pleasant Cemetery Wednesday 20th, for interment. Funeral service were conducted by Rev. M. J. Combs after which her her body was laid to rest in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
#2. Clark News: Died at her residence 4 miles south of Monett, Mrs. Mabel Prevo, on Dec .19, 1911, age 17 years, 10 months and 21 days. Was married to George Prevo, April 26, 1911. Mabel was the daughter of Judge Hilker near Corsicana and an excellent woman. She was converted at the age of 13 years and lived a constant Christian life and will be greatly missed by her relatives and friends. Her remains were laid to rest here in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery after funeral services by Rev. Combs. She leaves a husband father and mother, 2 brothers and 4 sisters to morn their loss. We extend sympathy to the bereaved family and say not to sorrow as those who have no hope. |
