Headline | Body of Jack Potts Back Home To Arrive Saturday Morning; Military Burial Sunday, Feb. 8 |
Text | The body of Pfc. Jack Potts, of the Sugar Creek community southwest of Washburn, will arrive Saturday morning over the Frisco and be taken from the train at Garfield Ark. Pfc. Potts entered the military service Dec. 15, 1942. He was killed in action in Europe, June 18, 1944. Funeral services will military honors, will be conducted at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon, Feb. 8 at Maple Grove (Potts) schoolhouse. If the weather permit the service will be at the graveside at the Dent cemetery. Research Note: From Barry Co.
