| Text | Teddie R. Poe, age 47, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.
He was born April 22, 1967, in Cassville, Missouri, the son of Dorris and Cleva (Greek) Poe. Teddie received his education at Washburn and graduated from Southwest High School. For twenty years he was employed at Roaring River State Park in maintenance. He was of the Baptist faith and accepted Christ as his Savior nine days ago. Teddie enjoyed wood working and building bird houses and he loved his family. Surviving are his mother, Cleva Preston of Seligman, Missouri; two brothers, Fred Poe of Cassville, Missouri and Teddie’s twin brother, Ed Poe of Washburn, Missouri; one sister, Sonja Green and her husband, Luke of Seligman, Missouri; aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his father and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 5, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Bob Scott will conduct the services. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery, Washburn. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in memory of Teddie. |
