| Text | Dr. J. L. Plater died at his home in Wheaton, Friday night, Jan. 23, at 2 O'clock. He had been sick for some time with Bright's disease. He was about 77 years old and has lived in this vicinity for many years. The funeral services were conducted at Rocky Comfort and interment made in the cemetery there, Saturday at 3 o'clock.
