| Text | Robert David Planchon, 52, of Monett, died at 7:05 p.m. yesterday, September 26, at Cox Monett Hospital. The death is under investigation by Barry County Coroner Skip White. Mr. Planchon was born October 10, 1947, in Monett, the son of David Johnny and Beulah (Downs) Planchon. He formerly worked at C and J Machine Shop in Monett as a machinist and was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Monett. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 29, at Christ United Methodist Church in Monett with Rev. Michael Irvine officiating. Burial will be in Waldensian Cemetery south of Monett under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow, September 28, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church. |
