| Text | Gilbert Clemen Plancheon departed this life on Saturday morning, April 6, at 6:30 o'clock, of pneumonia. He was born October 7, 1893, age 24 years, 5 months and 29 days. Funeral services were held at the home at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon for the immediate relatives, followed by public services at the Waldensian church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. D. R. Woods, assisted by Rev. H. H. Koontz. Gilbert was a young man of sterling qualities and previous to his death was a volunteer in the navy and was waiting for his call to the colors. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. S. Plancheon, south of town, well known and respected citizens. Monett Times |
