| Text | Robert Pitts, 71, of Cassville, died April 16 at his home. Mr. Pitts was born December 28, 1927, in Cassville, the son of Theophelus E. and Mary E. (Sims) Pitts. He was a graduate of Washburn High School and an Army veteran of World War II. He was employed with the Missouri State Highway Patrol for 36 years, retiring in 1987. He was also a farmer. He married Mary Anne Reese on March 20, 1988. Survivors include one son, one daughter, one brother, four step-children, two grandchildren, and five step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters and one step-son. Graveside services were 11 a.m. today, April 19, at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter with Rev. Mike Davidson officiating under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
