Text | Services for Clarence N. Pippin, 58, Seligman route 2, who died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Veterans Hospital at Little Rock, Ark., from head injuries he received when he was hit in the face by a broken wheel from a bench grinder at his welding shop, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Williamson Funeral Home at Cassville. The Rev. Bob Scott officiated. Burial was in King Cemetery, north of Seligman. Mr. Pippin was born Sept. 16, 1919, near Seligman. He owned and operated Pippin Welding Shop at Seligman. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Doris Pippin, whom he married Nov. 2, 1945; a son; a daughter; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Colman Pippin, Seligman; two brothers, Floyd Pippin, Seligman, and Lawrence Pippin, Fairbanks, Alaska; three sisters, Mrs. Cochran, Gateway, Ark., Mrs. Hill, of the State of Washington, and Mrs. Andrews, Albuquerque, N.M.., and four grandchildren.
