Text | Services for Chloe C. Pippin, 84, Washburn, who died at 6:20 p.m. Monday, February 26 at an Aurora nursing home where she had been a patient for three weeks, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Axley's Culver Chapel, Cassville. Rev. Bob Scott will officiate. Burial will be in King's Cemetery, north of Seligman. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Pippin was born March 5, 1894 north of Seligman. She was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church. Her husband, Colman B. Pippin, died in July 1978. Survivors include two sons, Floyd Pippin, Seligman and Lawrence Pippin, Fairbanks, Alaska; three daughters, Mrs. Cochran, Garfield, Ark., Mrs. Andrews, Albuquerque, N. M., and Mrs. Hill, Dallas, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Maye Withers, Boulder, Colo., 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Research Note: She was a daughter of Jacob Wesley and Julia Harriett (Barnes) Roller. Her husband, Colman B. Pippin, died in July 1978. |
