Text | John Pinkley, age 69 years 2 months and 27 days, died at his home in Exeter, Saturday evening at 7 o’clock from high blood pressure. Mrs. Pinkley survives him. In addition to Mrs. Pinkley he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ada Dell of Exeter and a half brother Gene Prichett of Branson together with four nephews and a host of friends. A daughter, Mrs. Thelma Taylor, preceded him in death over a year ago. Mr. Pinkley was born and reared in Arkansas but had lived at Exeter for many year and was well and favorable known. Funeral services were held at the Exeter Baptist Church by Chas VanZandt, Monday afternoon. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery under the direction of Koon Funeral Home.
