| Text | Alta Phillips died at her home in Pioneer on July 4th at 10 a. m. at the age of 16 years. She had been ill a long time, and was prepared for the end. She spoke of death without fear, and told how to conduct her burial. She was an earnest Christian and a member of the C. E. Her funeral service was preached by Rev. Combs and her remains were interred at Mt. Olive. "He giveth his beloved sleep." |
