| Text | Mrs. Nellie F. Phillips, 88, Garfield route 2, died at 11:15 p.m. Thursday, October 12 at Rogers Memorial Hospital, Rogers, Ark., where she had been a patient for several days. Born December 27, 1889 in McDonald County, Mrs. Phillips, a housewife, had resided at her present address for 18 years. Surviving is a son, Maurice Phillips, of the home, and a brother and sister, Sam Banks and Mrs. Pluma Steverson, both of Washburn. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Axley’s Culver Chapel, Cassville. Rev. Terry Hickman officiated. Burial was at Dent Cemetery, southwest of Washburn. |
