| Text | Maudie A. Periman, 90, of Exeter, died yesterday, May 6, at South Barry County Hospital in Cassville. Mrs. Periman was born April 30, 1909, in Shell Knob, the daughter of Eli Washington and Armintie (Barnes) Cooper. She spent most of her life in Barry County and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville. She married John Periman on December 18, 1927, in Barry County. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Walter, Estle, Elmer, and Roy Cooper; and three sisters, Mida Hoggett, Retha Collar, and Edith Rose. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, May 8, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Rev. John Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 7, at the funeral home. |
