| Text | William Glen Pendergraft, 75, of Washburn, died Sunday, May 4, 2003, in Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Ark. Mr. Pendergraft was born Dec. 24, 1927, in Washburn, the son of Clovis "Bill" and Cleo (Stephens) Pendergraft. On Aug. 29, 1954, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Walden. Glen was a lifelong resident of Washburn. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Most of his life was spent working with heavy equipment. Survivors include: four sons, David Pendergraft, Steve Pendergraft, Albert Pendergraft, and James Pendergraft, all of Washburn; two brothers, Junior Pendergraft and Harvey Pendergraft, both of Washburn; one sister, Wanda Stephens of Washburn; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday, May 6, 2003, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Bro. Dayton Brattin officiated. Burial was in Roller Cemetery, Washburn. |
