Text | Services for Wesley P. Pendergraft, 78 years old, Washburn resident who died Friday, will be at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon in Washburn Methodist church. The Rev. Perry Hickman will officiate. Burial will be in Antioch cemetery under direction of Williams funeral home of Cassville. Born March 11, 1883, near Jacket, Mo., Mr. Pendergraft spent most of his life in this area. He was a member of Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mamie Pendergraft, whom he married August 4, 1912; two sons, J. C. Pendergraft and Henry Pendergraft, Blackwell, Okla.; seven daughters, Mrs. Cecil Bray, Blackburn, Mo., Mrs. Ruth Cutberth and Mrs. Leo Arnold, Garfield, Ark., Mrs. Mamie Laughlin and Mrs. Lora Fleming, Blackwell, Mrs. Lucille Cockrell, Pea Ridge, Ark., and Mrs. Southard, Portland, Ore.; a brother, Joseph Pendergraft, Willmore, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. Ann Patterson, Rocky Comfort, Mrs. Stella Cardin, Stella, Mrs. Noma Atkerson, Pittsburg, and Mrs. Ellen Laughlin, Blackwell, Okla., 44 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
