Pearl of Monett, has sent the following newspaper clipping from an Enid, Okla., paper giving an account of the death of his son Fred, at Billings, Okla., Aug. 9, 1920: Fred Pearl, 36 years old, was found dead near his over-turned car a mile from a half south of Billings, about 6:30 O’clock last night. The car was a new one, but was torn to pieces and some think a motor car ran into this car, as he was 15 to 20 feet from his car. He leaves his wife and seven children, his father, mother, brother and sister. Fred formerly lived near Shell Knob. |
