Text | Junior Ross Paul, age 75, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007, in St. John’s Regional Health Center, Springfield, Missouri. He was born March 30, 1931, in Washburn, Missouri, the son of Thomas Nelson and Quintilla (Hall) Paul. On December 31, 1958, in Exeter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Joyce Norwood, who survives. He is also survived by one son, Gary Paul and his wife, Kelly of Cassville, Missouri; one brother, Leon Paul of Washburn, Missouri; two sisters, Faye Cox and Vada Cox both of Tulsa, Oklahoma and two grandchildren, Nathan and his wife Hannah and Lindy and her boyfriend, Steven. He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant siblings, Lester and Pauline; two brothers, Ralph Paul, Sr. and Joe Paul and four sisters, Erma Robbins, Iva Meyers, Fern Cummings and Eva Walden. Junior received his education at Washburn, where he graduated from high school in 1949. During the Korean War he served in the United States Army from January 17, 1952 until December 18, 1953. He was stationed overseas at Dorset, England. Junior worked as a barber from 1957 until his retirement in 1991. He and Joyce also own and operated a farm for many years. He was a member of Exeter First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 15, 2007, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Reverend Jerry Yarnall will conduct the services. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter. |
