| Text | Perry Alfred Patterson, 92, of Washburn, died May 29 at St. Mary Rogers Memorial Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. Mr. Patterson was born September 30, 1906, in Oklahoma Indian Territory, the son of Wesley Alexander and Sarah Ann Brock Patterson. He had been employed with the Army Corps of Engineers in New Mexico, and later was a farmer, custom hay baler, and carpenter. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He married Hattie Belle Branch on May 23, 1926, in Lubbock, Texas, and she preceded him in death June 18, 1988. He was preceded in death by one son, Perry Patterson Jr.; one grandchild and three great grandchildren. Services were 2:30 p.m. May 30 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Washburn with Rev. Lawrence Shuey and Rev. Rod VanGorkom officiating. Burial was in Roller Cemetery in Washburn under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
