Text | Narl Benton Patterson, son of John R. and Marie Patterson, was born Jan. 4, 1898 and died Jan. 28, 1935 at Rocky Comfort. Age 37 years and 24 days. Narl was converted when a boy and united with the Methodist Church at Rocky Comfort. He has always lived a good clean life and was well liked by all who knew him. He leaves to mourn his loss his mother, Mrs. John R. Patterson, one sister, Mrs. Harry Schell, two brothers, Grover and Loyd Patterson, three nieces and 5 nephews, Larry and Thelma Patterson, children of Hugh Patterson, John R., Catherine and Charles, children of Loyd Patterson, Willard, Jean and Benton, children of Mrs. Harry Schell and many other relatives and friends. His father, John R. Patterson, was killed in a motor car wreck Aug. 5, 1914. One sister, Grace, died Jan. 19, 1915, a brother, Clint, died in infancy and one brother Hugh, died July 21, 1921. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 30, at the Rocky Comfort Baptist Church by Rev. Sherman Erickson and burial made in the Rocky Comfort Cemetery under the direction of the direction of Belka’s Funeral Home. |
