Headline CHARLIE PATTERSON RITES AT CASSVILLE
Text Services for Charlie L. Patterson, 87, Joplin route 1, who died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Medical Center where he was taken after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Williamson Funeral Home at Cassville.

The Rev. Charles VanZandt will officiate and burial will be in Twelve Corners Cemetery, near Pea Ridge Ark. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Patterson was born June 1, 1882, in Barry County and farmed in the Washburn and Rocky Comfort area until moving to Joplin six years ago. He was a member of the Prairie Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Anna Patterson, whom he married Dec. 11, 1910; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Rose, Washburn, Mo., Mrs. Carrie Rose, Cocoa, Fla., and Mrs. Gusta Watson, Joplin; three sisters, Mrs. Delia Carden, Kansas, Mrs. Grace DeWitt, Seneca, and Mrs. Elsie Moffatt, Oklahoma City, Okla; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
