| Text | Henry F. Parks, who has resided for a number of years on Gunter Creek, died Monday night, Feb. 17, 1908, at his home, of pneumonia, aged about 68 years. The remains were laid to rest in the Quaker cemetery, Tuesday. He was born in New York, and came to Barry County twenty-five or thirty years ago. He was a Union veteran in the Civil war and served in Co. E, 4th Iowa cavalry. |
