Text | Garland Park, a life-long resident of Washburn community, died Friday at his home in Washburn, following a long illness.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Horine-Culver Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was in made in the Washburn Prairie cemetery. Garland was a son of the late J. J. Park one of the pioneer residents of the Washburn Prairie community. He was 63 years old. For about forty years he had been engaged in the barber business at Washburn. Surviving of his immediate family are his widow: three sons, Clayton, Line, and Russell, and two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Dement of Twinn Falls Idaho: and Mrs. Robert Mundorff of near Cassville. He is also survived by three sisters: Mrs. Gwendoline Davis of Washburn, Mrs. Demah Marcum of Joplin, and Mrs. Jennie Roller of Caldwell, Idaho.
