Text | Imogene Mae “Genie” Northcutt, 86, of Huntsville died March 30, 2005, at her home. She was born July 30, 1918, in Seligman, Mo., to Ira Monroe and Minna Lee “Lelia” (Presley) Coger. She was a 1940 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a bachelor of science degree in education and did graduate study at the U. of A and Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield. She was a member of Delta Gamma while attending the U. of A. She retired from the Huntsville public schools and was a member of the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association. She was a member if the First United Methodist Church in Huntsville. Survivors include her husband, two daughters, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the First United Methodist Church in Huntsville. Private burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1257, Huntsville 72740-1257, Circle of Life Hospice, 610 E. Emma Ave., Springdale, 72764 or a favorite charity.
