| Text | Inez Dorothy Newell, 96, of Cassville, died August 29 at Barry County Care Center. Mrs. Newell was born March 13, 1911, the daughter of Trell and Lillie Campbell. She attended Washburn High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville. She married Harry M. Newell on September 5, 1931, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include two grandchildren, one great grandchild, two nephews, one niece, eight great nieces and nephews, 14 great great nieces and nephews, and seven great great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Newell; two sisters, Frieda Edens and Maggie Campbell; and one brother, Orvall Campbell. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 2, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville with Rev. Glenn Erwin officiating under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
