| Text | Myrtle O. McWhorter, 90, of Cassville, died
September 5 at Barry County Care Center in Cassville. Mrs. McWhorter was born February 24, 1910, in Joppa, Illinois, the daughter of George A. and Della M. (Coke) Smith. She was employed with a metal products factory as a packer for several years in Illinois and was a counselor for Channel 38 Christian Television Station in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Cassville in 1984. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Cassville. She married Oscar J. McWhorter on May 19, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, and he preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by four brothers. Services will be 1 p.m. tomorrow, September 8, at First Assembly of God in Cassville with Rev. Bob Day officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
