Text | Paul J. McNabb, 79, Exeter, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997, at South Barry County Hospital, Cassville, after a long illness. He was born Aug. 26, 1918, at McDowell. He was a lifelong area resident. He was a meat cutter for many years at the Farmer's Exchange in Exeter. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He was known as a musician throughout southwest Missouri. He married Virginia Elgin on Dec. 2, 1944, at Cassville. She survives. Additional survivors include a daughter, Kathy Robison, and her husband, Larry, Cassville; four grandchildren; a brother, Aubry McNabb, Washburn; and a son, Steve Breeden, Nashville, Tenn. Services were Tuesday at Williamson Funeral Home, Cassville. Jim Larkin and Paul Yarnall officiated. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, Cassville. Pallbearers were Rick McNabb, Max McNabb, Donnie Chadd, Bobby Jo Chadd, Russell Hendrix and Gary Walden. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Edwards, Red Thomas, Kenny Byrd, Billy Hendrix, Glen Hinds, Rudolph Harris, Jimmy Hendrix, Jessie Chappell and Walter Price. |
