| Text | Services for Carman McKee, 90, Purdy, were at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in First
United Methodist Church in Monett with Revs. Frederick Zahn and Fred Harris
officiating. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of
Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. Mr. McKee died at 8:10 a.m. Monday, September 2, 1985, in St. John's Medical Center, Joplin, after a short illness. A lifetime resident of Purdy, he was an agent for the State Farm Insurance Co. He was the Purdy city collector. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of First United Methodist Church in Monett. Survivors include a daughter, two brothers, three sisters, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, Monett. |
