Text | Ova, daughter of Marion and Anna McGlothlin, was born near Fairland, Oklahoma, January 16, 1893 and passed away suddenly following a stoke, December 10, 1953 at the age of 60 years, 10 months and 24 days. When a small child she was with her parents moved to Rocky Comfort, later moving to Exeter, where she lived about 33 years. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Rose Smith of Indianapolis Indiana, one half-sister Pearl Hurd of Denver, Colo, and one half-brother Burley McGlothlin of Plainfield Indiana, one cousin Vern Erwin, also several other cousins. While Ova never united with any church she attended church and had expressed herself that she was ready to go. After talking to the only sister, Rose, she wanted everyone to know that she appreciated everything done by John Flutey who helped care for the family for 40 years. He was a Father and Mother and a brother to Rose and to the one who has passed on. Ova was a good friend and neighbor, often times doing things for others that the public knew nothing about.
