Text | Max A. McNabb, age 72, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013, in Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Arkansas.
He was born December 3, 1941, in Cassville, Missouri, the son of Aubry and Marie (Weathers) McNabb. On April 6, 1963, he was united in marriage to Joyce L. "Sue" Dye, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Rick McNabb of Washburn, Missouri; one daughter, Kelly Wiltgen of Seligman, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Dye and her husband, John of Seligman, Missouri and Marilyn Baker and her husband, Gary of Eagle Rock, Missouri; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents. Max received his education at Washburn and graduated from Southwest High School. For twelve years he was employed for Georges. Most of his life he was a logger and he worked for Ash Road District several years. He was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church. Some of his favorite pastimes were coon hunting and fishing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 14, 2013, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Reverend Glenn Erwin and Reverend Jim Erwin will conduct the services. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, Cassville. There will be no visitation. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in memory of Max. |
