| Text | Mary Horner Moody, 83, of
Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Cassville, died August 8 at Sandpiper Bay
Health Care Center in Wichita. Mrs. Moody was born March 13, 1917, in Cassville, the daughter of Oliver and Ethel (Henbest) Horner. She was a graduate of Cassville High School, was a beautician for a few years, and worked for Hallmark Cards in Wichita. She was a Methodist. She was married to Alfred Joe Moody. Survivors include one son, one daughter, one brother, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Mike Moody; one brother, Paul Horner; and one sister, Lucille Nash. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. tomorrow, August 11, at Horner Cemetery in Cassville with Rev. Gary Moody officiating under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. |
