Edward Morgan, 22, Rt. 2, Garfield, Ark., died Oct. 20, 1967, in a hospital
in Vietnam of wounds suffered a few hours earlier. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vadis Morgan of Rt. 2, Garfield. He was born in Barry County on Aug. 16, 1945. He graduated from Southwest High School at Washburn in 1954. He entered the service on Aug. 9, 1966 at Ft. Leonard Wood. James had been in Vietnam about 10 months. Survivors besides his parents are five sisters and four brothers. James also leaves his grandparents, Jack Henry of Washburn and Mrs. Cora Sexton, Rt. 2, Garfield. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at press time, under direction of Culver's. Research Note: No date, died Oct. 20, 1967 |
