| Text | Services for John Edwin Moore, 89, of Monett, who died November 11, were held at 2 p.m. yesterday, November 14, at the First United Methodist Church in Monett with Rev. Clif Crockett and Heno Head Sr. officiating. Music included an organ solo of Jesu, Joy Of Our Desiring and a trumpet solo of The Prayer Of St. Gregory by Dr. Tijuana Julian. Casketbearers were Gayle Bruner, Art Fyr, Less Shelton, Dale Ellis, David Honeycutt, and Jim Wheeler. Burial was in Oakdale Cemetery in Monett under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Military graveside rites were conducted by members of Hobbs-Anderson Post 91 Monett American Legion. Participating were Don Babcock, Jim Holland, Arle Holle, Melvin Kennedy, Bob Muench, Floyd VanDerhoeff, John Krause, Charles D'Arcy, Cliff Linder, Evert Fritz, George Ballay, Dayton Mackey, Gene Spivy, Wilmer Bray, and Wayne Rutherford. Flag folders were Bray and Rutherford. |
