| Text | John Allen Moore, age 68, of Monett, died at 7:55 p.m. yesterday, June 30, 2002, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield following a long illness. Mr. Moore was born March 3, 1934, in Barry County, the son of Charles and Iva Bowman Moore. He was a graduate of Monett High School and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a Navy veteran and was retired from Marsh Engineering in Monett. He married Dorothy Homringhous in May of 1965, and she preceded him in death in 1972. He was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Isley; and two step-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, at Arnhart Cemetery near Purdy with Rev. Denny LeMaster officiating under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. |
