| Text | Mary (Horner) Moody, 83, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Cassville, died August 8 at Sandpiper Bay Health Care Center in Wichita. Mrs. Moody was born March 13, 1917, in Cassville, the daughter of Oliver and Ethel (Henbest) Horner. She was a graduate of Cassville High School, was a beautician for a few years, and worked for Hallmark Cards in Wichita. She was a Methodist. She was married Alfred Joe Moody. Survivors include one son, of Valliant, Oklahoma; one daughter, of Missouri City, Texas; one brother, of Cassville; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Mike Moody; one brother, Paul Horner; and one sister, Lucille Nash. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. tomorrow, August 11, at Horner Cemetery in Cassville with Rev. Gary Moody officiating under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. |
