Obit For Ova (Lawson) Moen
Headline -
Text At 9:25 o'clock on Thursday morning, Sept. 15th at a Springfield hospital, the spirit of Mrs. Ova (Lawson) Moen took its flight to the great beyond. Her remains were laid to rest Friday afternoon in the Maplewood cemetery, near her home at Exeter.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Alfred Moen, three sisters, Mrs. Laura Tutry of Garfield, Ark., and Misses Vesta and Myrtle Lawson, three brothers, Josh, Neal and Jas. Lawson, seven nieces and two nephews.

God knew best and took this loved one from them but they are exceedingly sad by her going. In her home and elsewhere her sweet character will be missed and no one can fill her place. But God holds us in the hollow of His hand and when he calls us home we must go.

Mrs. Moen was born Dec. 11, 1900 and spent most of her life near Exeter. She was a member of the Exeter Baptist church and ha been a faithful Christian since early in life. She was married to Mr. Alfred Moen of Montana in November, 1922. It is said that in the blossom of life God saw fit to transplant her to the heavenly garden, but we bow in humble submission to the All-Wise Creator.

Our sympathy goes out to the bereaved husband and relatives who mourn her untimely death, and we bid them remember the hopes we have of a better world, and that of being with their darling forever and ever, where there is no night.

"Oh Lord Jesus thou art our king Thy people thou didst die to save. Neither any victory has the grave." E. H.
