| Text | Died at Shawnee, Oklahoma, March 23, 1908, Mrs. Lena Miller, wife of
George Miller, and a daughter of A. J. Anderson and wife, of childbirth,
aged 24 years, leaving a husband and little babe two weeks old, father,
mother, brothers and sisters and a number of other relatives. She was born and raised in this vicinity. The remains arrived here Wednesday noon and were met at the depot by the hearse and conveyed to Wm. Anderson's residence. At 2 p.m. funeral services were conducted at the Baptist Church by Rev. J. T. Brattin, after which the remains were laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery. A young life has returned to Him, who gave it. |
